The ‘Sultan of Box office’ challenging star Darshan is the Boss No.1 in Kannada cinema today. The latest reason for this is the ‘Kranti Veera Sangolli Rayanna’ TV rights acquired by Suvarna Satellite channel by paying Rs.7 crores plus.

While Sudeep from Big Boss and Puneeth Rajakumar from ‘Kannadada Kotyadhipathi’ have reaped good popularity even in small screen, it is now challenging star Darshan term via telecast of ‘Kranti Veera Sangolli Rayanna’.

In actual after TDS it is Rs.6.5 crores for producer Anand Appugol and once the demand was made for Rs.10 crores.

Meanwhile Darshan under production film ‘Brindavana’ in K Madesh direction and producers Suresh Gowdru and Srinivasamurthy joint venture fetched Rs.5.47 crores. His previous films ‘Sarathi’ was Rs.2 crores plus but ‘Bul Bul’ with rage of ‘KVSR’ got Rs.4.17 crores for Toogudeepa Productions.

Undoubtedly Darshan is the No.1 of Kannada cinema today.

The film ‘Kranti Veera Sangolli Rayanna’ will be telecast for Gowri and Ganesha festival by Suvarana satellite channel. The film starts at 4 pm and ending time is not fixed. It depends on the advertisement flow to the channel.

There was a stiff competition between ‘Aptha Rakshaka’ and ‘Jackie’ when they were telecast first in last Deepavali festival. Aptha Rakshaka started telecast at 6 pm and folded up at 11 pm while ‘Jackie’ was folded up at 11.15 pm on the same day.
